The rest of my trip: Brisbane to Cairns

Hello guys, 

I am sorry for the late addition but honestly I haven't had time at the beginning and then I wasn't motivated at all :P. But now, finally, I am going to finish off my Blog.
I have to write another three posts and I hope I'll make it in the next few days! 

Anyway. My last post was in the middle of may from Brisbane. 

Now I am back in Germany and as I said  I want to finish my Blog and let you know
 what I've done and what I've seen.
2 nights in Brisbane was definetly enough for me, but at the end

 it turned out as a really good decision. I have met a girl at the bus stop,

 from Germany of course, and we got along very well. 

In the bus the we sat next to each other and we had a nice long chat about everything! 

She was heading to Noosa, same as me and we stayed in the same hostel too. 

We had 2 days together in Noosa and then she was heading north 

but actually we had exactly the same plans except for the dates.

So we made it work that we could see each other at least for one day at our next stops.

Anyway, Noosa was just beautiful! I mean I really liked Byron Bay but Noosa was just amazing!

and it is right at the beach, a really nice beach! 

 Lots and lots of Surfers, a Nationalpark, a little shopping street with nice shops and an ice cream shop with the world's best ice cream!! 

Maja and me explored Noosa, did the Nationalpark walk, relaxed on the beach, cooked together, went shopping and bought ourselves this super good ice cream!! 

All together I had three nights in Noosa and it was definetly my favourite spot so far!

Next stop was Rainbow Beach, a really boring tini tiny town. 

I can't really say alot about it, because there isn't much to do. Luckily some friends from Noosa stayed in the same Hostel so it wasn't too bad and the weather wasn't too bad either so I had two nice beach days and got some tan on ;)

After Rainbow Beach I went for one night to Hervey Bay. It was a lot bigger then Rainbow Beach and there was a lot more to do but still not much ;)
I stayed there for only one night, which was enough. But I have met two really nice people I spent the next day with. We explored Hervey Bay, went to the Beach and walked along
the Urangan Jetty where lots of fishermen were.

Anyway. Next stop was Airlie Beach and that meant: SAILING TRIP!!!
I was so excited about it and finally the weather was awesome!
I mean I had nice weather pretty much the whole time,
but it wasn't that warm like it was in Airlie Beach.
Still I had the whole day in Airlie Beach until my sailing trip and randomly I have met a friend from Byron Bay while I was walking to my Hostel. So we spent the day together at the Lagoon and had a really nice Dinner at my Hostel!

Then the next day I finally had my Whitsunday sailing trip which was just amazing!
So many nice people on my boat, a really cool crew and lots of good food!
But not to forget the nice beach, the snorkelling and the scuba diving!
But after two days and two nights this amazing experience ends.

The next day I went to Magnetic Island with a friend I met on the boat.
We decided to explore the island a little bit and to do a Nationalpark walk!
From our Hostel we walked a fair bit up a hill where we had a nice view and we could see half the island, over to the mainland and Townsville where we took the ferry from.
By the time we got down the hill we were already exhausted and haven't had motivation at all.
So we decided to hitchhike across the island and it worked!

On our way back we met some guys we've met in Airlie Beach after our Sailing trip in our Hostel and they took us in their campervan back to our Hostel! Lucky girls I would say :)

Two nights on the island and I had to say Goodbye to Magnetic Island and Hello Mission Beach.
Everybody I've met told me that I have to go there and it is so beautiful there.
I was just disappointed. Boring!

With nice weather it could be nice..but it wasn't..

 Doesn't matter. Only one night there and the next day I got to my final stop: Cairns!!
The weather was perfect, my Hostel was nice and I had an ace up my sleeve for the next day.
Early in the morning I needed to get up to go to my Skydive!
I was so excited and really nervous!! But by the time I sat on the plane I was so excited and not nervous at all. It was amazing and right after the jump I wanted to do it again!
60 seconds of free fall, 160 pictures which proof that I am enjoying every single moment and 5 minutes of paragliding afterwards. Only one word: AMAZING!!!

...and survived!

In my rush of adrenaline I went back to my Hostel and decided to relax at the Lagoon.
On my way to the Lagoon I met a friend from the boat and I changed my plans and spent the day with him and his friend who I knew from the boat too.
All together I had five days in Cairns I spent with some people from the boat, with Maja, with some other trips I had booked beforehand and some pretty good nights out.
I went on a catamaran to the Great Barrier Reef again where I did some amazing snorkelling.
The reef was so much more colourful and there were heaps more fish.
I've even seen some turtles, sting rays and sharks!
A guy I have met on the catamaran took some pictures of me but I haven't got them yet.
Maybe I get them at some point and can add them later.
The last highlight of my trip was the Uncle Brians Tablelands and Waterfall Tour.
A really great day I spent with Maja. She surprised me and had booked her tour on the same day!

It was an amazing day, we got entertained the whole day from 7am to 9pm and then we even had an aftershow party! Lots and lots of fun, good food, amazing waterfalls, funny and entertaining tourguides, and some pretty good swims!
 A perfect day and a tour I would recommend to everyone!!

 All together the second part of my east coast trip was so much better, not only the weather got better everytime I got further up north, but also because I've met so many amazing people, have done some much fun things and I just enjoyed my aussie life!
Cairns was the cream topping with fresh fruit of my pavlova :D ;)
