Hello, here it is, my last post about my Asutralian adventure! :)
Mum left and I had two weeks, to be exact 17 days, left in Australia.
Mum left and I had two weeks, to be exact 17 days, left in Australia.
Two more days in Sydney, three days on the Indian Pacific and finally
twelve days back in Perth with my lovely first hostfamily.
The last two days in Sydney weren't special at all, I was sad because mum left,
I couldn't wait 'til my time back in Perth and to be honest, the last thing I wanted
is to sit three days on the Indian Pacific.
But I had booked my ticket and so I needed to go and actually I wanted it the whole time.
I motivated myself, went to my favourite spot in Sydney (port macquarie's chair)
and actually I had two nice days in Sydney.

On wednesday the 25th of June my adventure on the Indian Pacific started.
I travelled 65 hours on the Indian Pacific, from the eastcoast to the westcoast,
4352km through the country.
I had a single seat, which wasn't cheap at all, but I have heard from the Indian Pacific
and decided: no matter how much it will cost, I want to do this!

The route of the Indian Pacific |
Beeing on the Indian Pacific is an adventure! It is much more expensive than a flight, and it takes you a lot longer than it would take you on the plane but it was worth the experience.
You travel with some people through the country and don't just sit next to them like on the plane and have a little bit of smalltalk. You get to know those people and you share your experiences with them.
I didn't think, that that many people decide to travel by train through Australia.
I thought only backpackers, tourists and some Asutralian from the rural area travel that way, but I got taught better. Heaps of Australians travel that way, a few backpackers and just a handful tourists.
If you are on the Indian Pacific in the red section, you need a good book, some food and drinks and some good music and you can enjoy the trip!
I really liked sitting in my chair and watching the change of the vegetation!
You go to sleep and everything is green and looks like in europe and the next morning you wake up and it looks like you are in the desert. Neither trees nor bushes..just red sand.
And this change came the whole way through to Perth. Sometime just flat, sometimes trees and sometimes nothing but bushes..I could even spot some animals. :)
We had three stops, where we had the oppotunity to go into town.
The first one in Broken Hill, the second one in Adelaide and the third one in Kalgoorlie.

After three days on the Indian Pacific I definetly had enough, but it was an experience I don't want ot miss. I wouldn't do it again, but I am happy that I've done it!

Finally in Perth! I was so excited to see Chris, Ciel and the girls again!
Chris, Bella and Grace came to pick me up from the train station. I staretd to cry in the moment I have seen them and I just hugged all of them! Chris said: 'Welcome home' to me, which felt so good!
Grace was a bit shy at the beginning but still she couldn't let go of my hand!
And Bella, she was as always, she started talking and told me pretty much everthing what happened in the last 5 month. I have missed that and I was so happy to have them back!
So we drove home and it felt like I have never been away!
Ciel and Evie waited at home and welcomed me too and I needed to cry again.
It just felt so good to be back 'home'.
It took me just a few hours to be back in routine and I felt welcome and home straight away.
We spent my last 12 days in Australia together and it has been a wonderful time and a great final for my Australian experience, to start and finish my time with an amazing family.
Time had come to say 'See you soon Australia'.
We had a last dinner together and then I needed to say goodbye to Chris and the grils.
Lots of tears..and I couldn't believe that I really had to go!
Ciel brought me to the airport and there it was..my plane back home.
One year was already over, the time ran by so fast, but, I hade an awesome year!
I got to know so many lovely people, learned a lot and don't regret anything I have made.
Thank you to all those people who have made my stay to something really special. I had the time of my life and I'll be back soon!
A special Thank you to my two amazing hostfamilies. My experience wouldn't have been anywhere near as good without all your help and support!
